Artista / Biografía
Rosario González Sabogal inicia su pasión por el diseño metalúrgico en 1990. Comenzó su carrera trabajando una moderna línea precolombina llamada Sipan para luego incorporar otra compuesta por piezas escultóricas finamente trabajadas. Luego de realizar muestras individuales en reconocidas galerías de arte de Lima, su talento se ve reconocido obteniendo los primeros lugares en
concursos de platería organizados por el Patronato de la Plata del Perú. A raíz de estos éxitos su presencia es requerida en diversas muestras colectivas en el extranjero llevando su obra por América y Europa. En la actualidad continúa produciendo ambas tendencias además de una nueva línea minimalista predominando la belleza geométrica. Su obra responde a un espíritu netamente creativo e íntimamente personal con piezas únicas tanto para el hombre como para la mujer trabajando con piedras preciosas, semi preciosas, fósiles y otros elementos naturales. Artist / Biography
Rosario González Sabogal began her passion for metallurgic design in 1990. She started her career working a modern pre-columbian line called Sipán, to later incorporate another composed of fine, handicraft sculpture works. After individual exhibits in renowned art galleries in Lima, her talent is recognised obtaining the first place in silverware contests organised by The Peruvian Silver Authority (Patronato de la Plata del Perú). As a result of this success, her attendance is required in different collective exhibits abroad, carrying her craft throughout the Americas and Europe. At present, she still produces works in both trends, as well as a new minimalist line which enhances geometric beauty. Her jewelley work responds to a basically creative and intimately personal spirit, with unique pieces for both men and women, crafted with semi-precious and precious stones, fossils and other natural elements.
