On this day in 2013, we registered with the Investment Promotion Authority that started a journey of discovery and growth. Today we proudly turn 𝟭𝟬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 old.

It was a journey that was full of pain. A journey of finding our place in the industry that came with many failures and wrong financial decisions. It was a journey of many dead ends and more dead ends, but giving up was never an option. Looking back, we are truly proud of this journey that we came on and our achievements so far!

In the last 10 years we have tried our very best to be visible, earn our reputation, build trust and brand ourselves. In the next 10 years, our objective is to solidify the existence of Cane into eternity. This time we come with experience, lessons learnt through the hard way and a deeper understanding of the business world.

We believe in our team and we thank them all for their hard work, dedication and commitment. We are truly grateful for the contributions of everyone, including past employees, the networks who have been part of this amazing journey, the best friends who have become family through our struggles, and the people who believed in us from the very beginning.

We have had our worst years and we have seen our best moments and everything in between. Today we celebrate an incredible journey that gave us 10 years of the best rewarding experiences.

POSITION VACANCY
CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

We have a project coming up for immediate start and we require a construction foreman to be engaged for the duration of the project and possibility of extension of contract depending on projects.

Construction Foreman responsibilities include:

a. Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plan
b. Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew
c. Allocating general and daily responsibilitie
d. Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
e. Ensure manpower and resources are adequate
f. Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
g. Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
h. Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
g. Resolve problems when they arise
h. Report on progress to managers, engineers etc.

Requirements and skills

a. Proven experience as construction foreman
b. In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSH guidelines
c. Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems
d. Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints
e. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
f. Ability to communicate and report effectively
g. Good physical condition and stamina

Qualifications

Must have diploma in Building High school skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) With more than 10 years of experience.

POSITION VACANCY
QUANTITY SURVEYOR

As Quantity surveyor, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. As Quantity surveyor, you will manage the costs on a construction project and to ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget.

Responsibilities includes;

a. Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
b. Liaising with site foreman, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
c. Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
d. Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets
e. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
f. Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
g. Other respinsibilities when required

Qualifications required
Bachelor in Building or Architecture
With a minimum experience of 5 years.
