LOCAL companies have to be certified with internationally recognised standards to attract domestic and international markets, according to the National Institute of Standards and Industrial Technology (Nisit).

Nisit director-general Joe Panga said this last week when presenting Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points certificates to Prima Smallgoods Limited and Food Pro for their management and manufacturing systems.

Panga said that the certificates were a testament of the companies’ food safety management systems, demonstrating their commitment to producing safe and high-quality food products for PNG consumers.

The wait is over! Our official Round 1 draw is finally out and we are excited to kick off another exciting season of junior rugby league action. 💪🏽

Young talents from different academies across the city are ready to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in what promises to be an exciting weekend of grassroots rugby league.
