JUST IN: Luzon grid will be on red and yellow alerts today, April 16, as 19 power plants are on forced outage while three others are running at a limited capacity, according to the NGCP.
Red Alert
2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.
Yellow alert
1 to 2 p.m., 4 to 6 p.m. and 9 to 11 p.m.
Visayas grid will be placed on yellow alert also today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
According to NGCP, 12 power plants are on forced outage while five others are running on derated capacities.
