The City Building and Architecture Office (CBAO) reminds residents to secure building permits and follow the required standards before constructing any structure.

Engr. Stephen Capuyan explained that many structures are built without following proper regulations. He emphasized that even if a property has a land title, a building permit will not be issued if the structure does not comply with the building code.

He also noted that residents may apply online through BuildPASS Baguio (Building Permit Application Services System). Applicants are encouraged to consult licensed engineers or architects to ensure compliance with the building code and safety rules.
