In another first here in Eastern Visayas, the Visayas State University launched a digital document request and tracking system that will allow the public to remotely monitor the status of their request from the Office of the University Registrar (OUR).

Hello Students and Alumni,

We have some exciting news!

To make things easier, faster, and more convenient for you, our MIS Unit, in collaboration with the University Registrar - VSU Main, has created an online platform. Now, you can request your Transcript of Records (TOR), Certificate of Authentication and Verification (CAV), and other certifications with just a few clicks. Plus, you'll be able to track the progress of your request and receive notifications at each stage.

Dear Viscans,

We regret to inform you that we are currently experiencing technical issues with our Wireless Controller, resulting in downtime for our Wireless Access Points and Free Wifi services.

With this, some offices/departments/Units and Dormitories may encounter difficulties with authentication on our Wireless Access Points. To address this issue, we have initiated the deployment of a new controller on our spare machine. However, this process necessitates the re-adoption of our existing Access Points.

Our technical team will be dispatched to perform the re-adoption of Access Points, aiming to restore normal operations as swiftly as possible.

We apologize for any disruption this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to resolve this matter promptly.

, we present to you the 7th President of the Visayas State University system, Dr. Prose Ivy Guasa Yepes.

We thank our two equally stellar candidates, Dr. Dennis P. Peque and Dr. Jinky B. Bornales, for their active and commendable participation in this very important search process in the history of our beloved university.

We also thank our VSU Board of Regents (BOR) Chaired by Dr. J. Prospero De Vera III for their commitment to choose the best leader to steer VSU in the next century.

Attention Viscans on Main Campus, this update is relevant to you as well.

THE "DONE" BUTTON | Starting this 2nd Semester, AY 2023-2024, a new DONE button has been added in the Enrollment Module of the CumulusOne Portal.

After adding and verifying all the courses to be enrolled, the student MUST CLICK THE DONE BUTTON in the enrollment module. This will close the enrollment from the student’s end and will notify the adviser that he/she has an enrollment to check and approve.

If changes must be made, the adviser will revert the enrollment and the enrollment reopens from the student’s end. The student needs to make appropriate changes as per adviser’s feedback.

All processes hereafter remain the same.
