FACT: Net-Metering is a program under RA 9513, the Renewable Energy (RE) Act. It allows customers to install an RE facility within their premises up to a capacity of 100kW. Any excess electricity not consumed in the home or business is exported to a distribution utility (in this case, ANECO). In return, distribution utilities (DU) and electric cooperatives (EC) compensate customers through credits in their monthly bill.
