To the esteemed plumbing engineers, to the organizers and officers of this prestigious organization, congratulations.
I would like to specially thank President Engr Armando Diaz, for having me a part of your event today with a theme " Master Plumbers Today, Engineers Tomorrow.
It is amazing to realize and note that plumbing trade and skills are upgraded to a level of a facet of engineering expertise. Under RA 1378 multi disciplinary profession of architects and engineers.
Today, we gather not just as professionals, but as the unsung heroes who safeguard public health and comfort in our daily lives. Each pipe we lay, every valve we install, is a vital connection in the intricate web that sustains our civilization. Your work ensures that clean water flows freely, waste is efficiently removed, and our communities thrive.
In a world facing increasing environmental challenges, you stand at the forefront of innovation and sustainability. As plumbing engineers, you have the unique opportunity to champion systems that conserve water and optimize resources. Embrace cutting-edge technologies and smart solutions; your creativity can lead to breakthroughs in efficiency and sustainability that will inspire future generations. The idea that structural engineering requires succinct and precise quality of pipes and structure with electrical design as well among other design aspects.
Henceforth without elevating this skill level of plumbing, there can be errors manifesting in leaks in the walls or roofs of a building or house. It can cause disastrous effects as short circuit in the electrical system and inevitably fire. Loss of limb or even loss of life.
Remember, the impact of your work extends far beyond the technical aspects. You are building a legacy of safety, health, and comfort for those you’ll never meet. Let that knowledge empower you to tackle each challenge with passion and determination.
The only way we can upgrade the quality of our infrastructure especially housing and buildings is to elevate the quality of plumbing design and structure.
Our plumbers are given the opportunity to elevate their skills level and opportunity to earn higher quality income. For the consumers, it’s peace of mind and high quality homes and dwelling places.
I am with you all in this dream. Perhaps to begin with, let’s tighten the plans and aspirations to make this all happen.
So, let us take pride in our craft and strive for excellence, knowing that every project contributes to a much better, and healthier world. Together, we can lead the way into a future where our innovations pave the path for a sustainable and prosperous humanity.
