EDISONS MACHINE WORKS CORPORATION was organized registered with the Securities
and Exchange Commission on July 22, 1997. The company started by organizing a pool of
professionals and technical individuals from various engineering and management
disciplines with years of experience in different industries. This nucleus served as the
catalyst which enabled the company to develop a vision fully a
ttuned and responsive to
the needs of the different industrial clients during those challenging times. Through its well-planned strategies and timeliness and excellent work quality, the
company gained the trust and confidence of large industrial concerns in the region. In
the succeeding years, EDISONS metamorphosed into a modern and well equipped
machine and fabrication facility, engineering services and manufacturing establishment
which is recognized starting 2005 as Southern Philippines best, largest and the most
modern. In 2009, EDISONS became Mindanao’s first OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
with primary focus on the post-harvest needs of the agricultural sector. Today, its products are distributed nationwide and has been received with enthusiasm
by farmers, cooperatives, grain millers and rice trading companies. The existing manufacturing plant is a fully secured facility located at Kauswagan Hi-way,
Cagayan de Oro City. It has unsurpassed accessibility and is only fifteen minutes from the
International Port of Cagayan de Oro and twenty minutes from the airport. EDISONS, backed by experienced technical people, professional managers and adequate
resources, has the capability to undertake manufacturing, mechanical and steel
fabrication and installations and other related engineering works on turnkey basis. EDISONS is self-reliant and competitive with a 2,000-square meter production facility
and machine shop equipped with a 5-ton Demag overhead traveling crane. The facility is
also equipped with the latest in metal forming and cutting Computer Numerical
Controlled (CNC) Machines, presses and more than eighty (80) other advanced
equipment for manufacturing, mechanical fabrication and other engineering activities. As part of its logistical capabilities, a 3.2 ton forklift and truck mounted light cranes are
also available to respond to the transport and lifting requirement of the agricultural,
commercial and heavy industries. VISION:
