The Harvester’s house is a converted old building for a family of six who wished for a cozy home adjacent to a busy national highway. The ground floor is dedicated for commercial spaces while the second and third floor are for residential use. Half of the roof deck is converted to guest house and space for family gatherings. The floors are connected by the common stairwell. Bare concrete and treated natural wood are the dominant materials used for the exterior in order to age well with its close proximity to the road. The clean lines and repetition of linear patterns offer visual cohesion and order.
