Another win for our mathematicians—Chu, Sean Lei A. (BSEE-4); Cabuguas, John Timothy R. (BSMATH-4); and Castro, Hillary Shayne P. (BSCE-3) - for being crowned Champions of the recently concluded CESAFI Math Quiz 2026.

Congratulations to our teams from CIT-University for winning the UP Cebu Intercollegiate Math Quiz 2026!

With 8 schools and 16 teams competing, CIT-University proudly takes home the GRAND CHAMPION title for the THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR.

Team A composed of Ardiente, Rohan (BSECE-4), Chu, Sean Lei A. (BSEE-4), and Cuyos, Alester (BSChE-4) emerged as this year's champion.

Also representing CIT University was Team B which was composed of Miñoza, Jude Bernard V.(BSCE-4), Castro, Hillary Shayne A. (BSCE-3), and Alqueza, Mark Douglas A.(BSCE-4).

Notably, among the participants were our recent Mathematicians of the Year: Miñoza, Jude Bernard (2024), Ardiente, Rohan (2025), and Chu, Sean Lei A. (2026).
