2026 International Conference on Resource Sustainability ✨️

Proud Moment for the University of San Jose- Recoletos

A few selected Industrial Engineering students from the University of San Jose-Recoletos had the privilege of participating in the 2026 International Conference on Resource Sustainability held on June 15–17, 2026 at Bai Hotel Cebu, Philippines.

This remarkable event gathered researchers, professionals, educators, and students to discuss innovative ideas and sustainable solutions for a better future. We are honored to represent our university, gain valuable insights from experts, and engage in meaningful discussions on resource sustainability.

Making the event even more special for the USJ-R is seeing our very own Engr. Dennis Anthony Kilongkilong as one of the Conference Chairs, alongside international academic leaders from Tsinghua University and De La Salle University.

As our term as the JOINTS Officers for AY 2025–2026 comes to a close, we look back on a year filled with both challenges and opportunities for growth.

Through every setback and adjustment, we continued moving forward together. This term has been a journey of learning, leadership, and perseverance. As we turn over our roles to the next set of officers, we close this chapter with valuable experiences and lessons that we will carry forward.

The momentum continued into the afternoon of the 17th Regional Industrial Engineering Research Congress as we moved into our highly anticipated breakout sessions!

The afternoon focused on the heart of the congress, research and collaboration. Student researchers took the floor in various sessions to present their innovative studies, putting the theme, “A Blueprint for Resilient Industrial Systems: Advancing Sustainable Pathways through Innovation,” into practice. From sustainable manufacturing to supply chain optimization, each presentation showcased the technical expertise and forward-thinking mindset of our future Industrial Engineers.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our panel of reactors and moderators for their invaluable guidance, and to our presenters for their hard work. Your dedication to excellence made the afternoon sessions a resounding success, truly embodying the spirit of IE innovation!

From sustainable industrial practices to innovative system improvements, each presentation reflected the competence, creativity, and problem-solving mindset of future Industrial Engineers.

More than a venue for academic presentation, the breakout sessions fostered meaningful exchange, critical discourse, and collaboration among participants committed to building resilient and sustainable industrial systems.
