QUESTION - How to compute SUPERHEAT?

Temp increases in a v***r form, Meaning nanyayari ang SUPERHEAT sa Ev***rator side
YOUR SATURATED SUCTION TEMP [MINUS] SUCTION PIPE TEMP = SUPERHEAT
Ex R410
Your suction pipe temp is 55°F and your suction Pressure is 130 PSIG your SST (Saturated Suction Temp) is 45°F
Your Superheat is 10°F
*****TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE*****
HIGH SUPERHEAT = UNDERCHARGE
LOW SUPERHEAT = OVERCHARGE
Usapan SUBCOOLING naman
**SUBCOOLING - IS THE TEMPERATURE DECREASES IN A LIQUID FORM
**SUBCOOLING measure HOW much refrigerant is in the condenser
**SUBCOOLING is approximately 10 to 18°F
**NOTE** Sa mga air conditioning equipment mostly gamit syang method of charging pag TXV ang metering device.. HINDI applicable ang Subcooling method sa mga AC Equipment na meron Liquid receiver.

YOUR SATURATED CONDENSING TEMP [MINUS] LIQUID LINE TEMP = SUBCOOLING
Ex R410a
Your Head/HighSide Pressure is 365 PSIG your SCT (Saturated Condensing Temp) is 110°F
And your LIQUID LINE TEMP is 95°F
Your SUBCOOLING IS 15°F

HIGH SUBCOOLING = TOO MUCH REFRIGERANT IN THE CONDENSER (OVERCHARGE)
LOW SUBCOOLING = NOT ENOUGH REFRIGERANT IN THE CONDENSER..
TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
1 HIGH SUPERHEAT + HIGH SUBCOOLING = DEFFECTIVE METERING DEVICE (EXV, TXV, CAP TUBE & SO ON)
2 HIGH SUPERHEAT + LOW SUBCOOLING = LOW CHARGE
3 ZERO SUPERHEAT = LIQUID GETTING IN THE COMPRESSOR (KEEP IN MIND) COMPRESSOR CANNOT COMPRESS LIQUID.. The more liquid ang nakakapasok sa Compressor the more compressor struggle.. High Amps, High Power Consumption..
ALWAYS REMEMBER
YOU CAN MAKE YOUR AIR CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT COOL BY CHARGING YOUR SYSTEM BY RULE OF THUMB (125 to 150PSIG FOR R410A, 60 to 80 PSIG FOR R22 ) OR CHARGE IT BASE ON THE COMPRESSOR RUNNING AMPS BUT CHARGING YOUR SYSTEM BY THIS METHOD (SUPERHEAT OR SUBCOOLING) YOUR SYSTEM IS MORE EFFICIENT, POWER SAVER AND WILL LAST LONGER THAN THE RULE OF THUMB METHOD!
