𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.

Our client envisioned a modern gazebo with a small kitchen and grilling area, a space where family and friends can gather, relax, and create lasting memories. Since the project is located in Northern Cebu, an area affected by the strong earthquake in 2025, safety became our top priority.

While the client's original concept was to build the structure using concrete, we carefully evaluated the site’s conditions and recommended a properly engineered structural steel system
instead. When designed and constructed correctly, structural steel provides greater flexibility during seismic events, making it an excellent choice for earthquake-resistant structures.

The result is a modern tropical gazebo that seamlessly combines aesthetics, functionality, and structural performance. The design features a steel-framed structure with deeper structural beams, an elevated deck supported by a steel C-channel subframe, and low-maintenance WPC
decking. Every element was thoughtfully selected to withstand heavy rains, strong winds, and seismic activity while creating a comfortable and inviting outdoor living space.

Beyond enhancing structural performance, this solution also proved to be more cost-effective than the client's original concrete concept, delivering exceptional value without compromising safety, quality, or aesthetics.
