The successful energization of the 69kV 20MVA Substation and 13.2kV Switchgear System at our project site in Brgy. Balsic, Hermosa, Bataan on March 30, 2026 marks a major milestone in strengthening reliable power infrastructure. This achievement was led by Engr. Jasper Orcullo, alongside Engr. Junflor Zabate and the committed project team.

The 1200kVA Melter Booster Equipment for San Miguel Yamamura Corporation- Cebu Glass Plant was successfully heated last March 12, 2026. Following a one-week stabilization period, the Varivolt Transformer is scheduled for energization, subject to final inspection and commissioning by the supplier, as it will serve as the power source for the electrodes.

All prerequisite activities, including inspections, testing, and preparatory works required prior to energization, have been completed and verified.

We extend our formal recognition to all engineers and operating personnel for their technical expertise, strict adherence to quality standards, and coordinated ex*****on of all pre-energization activities. Their contributions in ensuring system integrity, compliance, and operational readiness have been instrumental in achieving this milestone.

Successful Energization of SMYPC Powerplant Feeder 7 Supplying SMYPC Glass Plant Feeder 8.

The energization of SMYPC Powerplant Feeder 7 to SMYPC Glass Plant Feeder 8 has been successfully completed—marking a significant project milestone in ensuring reliable and efficient power distribution.

Led by Engr. Christopher Caberte (Project Manager) and Engr. Ariel Jade Balasa (Instrumentation & Control Engineer), with the Testing and Commissioning Team headed by Engr. Peter Paul Laurente, alongside Engr. Lester Dayday (TSD Personnel), and with the assistance of EBAX personnel through the support of GM Virgilio Francisco.

This accomplishment was made possible through the dedication of Project Analyst Engr. Ronilo Orongan Jr., Site Engr. James Clyd Janopol, and Site Engr. Jerardo Mabala, together with the entire electrical engineering team.

2026 Annual Strategic Planning Conference

Held on February 6, 2026, at the Bayfront Hotel, North Reclamation Area, Cebu, the event highlighted the commitment and collaboration of Energy & Building Applications Technology Corporation employees.

Each department presented their KPIs and programs for the 1st Quarter Strategic Planning, demonstrating their dedication to achieving certain goals.

The conference was spearheaded by our President/CEO, Ernesto B. Abunda Jr., P*E, and Vice President/CFO, Agnes D. Abunda, with the full support of General Manager, Virgilio L. Francisco Jr. and Assistant General Manager, Kelvin Thomas D. Abunda.
