The story of Silverlight will be something personally funny to us as it was a literal dive in head first without knowing anything about lasers! Our journey started when the original founders started looking for a business to put up way back in 2013. From Car wash to retail electronics, we were constantly throwing out ideas on what business to put up. When someone suggested that we look at laser cutting, we immediately laughed at the idea that laser cutting exists and that it was purely “science fiction” until we saw a machine working up close and personal. From there, it was just endless curiosity. Mind you, we didn’t have a single idea on how these machines work and how to use the software that comes along with it. But just as our motto of “Imagine, Create, Play” says, we did just that! Fast forward to 5 years later, we have now proudly worked with top companies with in the Philippines such as Ayala Land, Avida, Google, Senco Link, Silicon Valley, Samsung, Microsoft and Solar Entertainment Corporation to name a few. Helped students out with their designs and projects from De La Salle University, University of the Philippines, College of Saint Benilde, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Technological Institute of the Philippines and Ateneo de Manila University. Worked as well with our local government agencies such as the BOC, DOST, DOLE, PNP and DPWH with their projects. But our main source of pride is and always will be helping out the budding entrepreneurs and the start up companies in building up their businesses.
