When Pump Down Is Needed

°Pump down is not normally included in routine cleaning.

It is typically done only when:

°Relocating the air conditioner.
°Replacing refrigerant piping.
°Repairing refrigerant leaks.
°Replacing major refrigeration components.

•For regular preventive maintenance, a general cleaning alone is usually sufficient unless refrigeration work is required.

•After Every Wash
Leave the door or lid open for a few hours to allow the drum to dry.

•Wipe away excess moisture from the door seal (front-load machines).
Check for small items (coins, pins, tissues) left inside the drum.

Weekly

•Wipe down the control panel and exterior surfaces.
•Inspect the door gasket/seal for mold, lint, or trapped debris.
•Check that the machine remains level and stable during operation.

Monthly

Inspect water inlet hoses for:
Cracks
Bulges
Leaks
Corrosion around connections

Clean the lint filter (if applicable).
Every 3–6 Months

•Vacuum dust from behind and underneath.
•Check power cord condition.
•Inspect drain hose for kinks or wear.
•Clean the water inlet screens where hoses •connect to the machine.
•Verify that all hose connections are tight.
Annually
•Replace rubber water hoses every 3–5 years, or sooner if damaged.
•Inspect for rust, unusual vibration, or signs of wear.
•Check that the drain system is functioning properly.
•Consider a professional inspection if the machine is heavily used.
