WATCH | Last June, the Tampakan Sanitary Landfill Cell and Leachate Treatment Facility was officially turned over to the Local Government Unit of Tampakan, marking a significant milestone toward safer and compliant residual waste management.

The project features a fully engineered Sanitary Landfill (SLF) cell equipped with a clay liner, leachate collection system, gas vents, and leachate treatment ponds to help protect the environment and public health. The remaining components of the facility are part of the LGU’s expansion plans, supporting its efforts toward more sustainable waste management in the years ahead.

Our sincere appreciation goes to the LGU of Tampakan, under the leadership of Mayor Leonard Escobillo, RN, for making this project a reality and taking another step toward a cleaner community.

This project was proudly delivered by R2R Construction, an ISO 9001:2015-certified company specializing in the design and construction of sanitary landfills and wastewater treatment systems.
