Reason:
The substation feeder breaker was activated after detecting a line disturbance.

Cause:
• Coconut tree fell onto the primary power line at Pole no. 022553, Astorga Proper, Sta. Cruz.

We would like to inform all consumers in the affected areas that we are currently experiencing an unexpected and uncontrolled power interruption which started at 6:36 PM.

• Darong
• Inawayan

Reason:
The substation feeder breaker was activated after detecting a line disturbance.
Cause: Coconut tree fell onto the primary power line at Pole no. 022553, Astorga Proper, Sta. Cruz.

Power service will be restored once the cause of the interruption has been identified and the necessary repairs have been completed.

As part of its commitment to grassroots service, the cooperative facilitated membership sanitation, record updates, and other essential customer inquiries on-site. To further support the community, a "Libreng Gupit" drive was also organized for the attending consumers.

The event was graced by Board President and Sta. Cruz District Director, Atty. Glenn F. Solana, who participated in the activities and delivered a message emphasizing DASURECO’s dedication to bringing services directly to the communities it serves.

| 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚.

DASURECO successfully rolled out its Mission Happiness program on July 15, 2026, in Matanao District. This meaningful outreach was conducted in the spirit of celebrating the 47th anniversary of the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA), echoing the national movement of electric cooperatives to bring "Coop Power" and compassion directly to the grassroots level.

Partnering with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Davao del Sur Office, the outreach initiative brought smiles, laughter, and vital assistance to 200 Indigenous cultural community (IP) learners from Saub Elementary School and Savoy Elementary School - Tagaytay Extension.

The young learners were treated to delightful snacks and a live magic show, alongside receiving bags of school supplies, essential medicines, and hygiene kits to support their education and well-being.

An effort of this scale succeeds only when a community unites. DASURECO extends its deepest gratitude to the NCIP Davao del Sur Office, the municipal government of Matanao, and the Barangay Officials of Saub and Savoy for their warm, earnest, and unwavering support. Their coordination and hands-on help ensured that the activity was executed safely, smoothly, and with maximum impact for the children.

This heartwarming initiative serves as a beautiful reminder that while we make a living by what we get, we truly make a life by what we give. Even the most modest gesture, when offered with care, ripples outward to uplift the communities we serve, especially the Indigenous cultural community. By staying deeply connected through this shared spirit of helping, DASURECO and the NCIP ensure that their collective light continues to reach and brighten every corner. Through partnerships like this, the future shines brighter for the Indigenous cultural community (IP) learners.
