We would like to inform all consumers in the affected area that we are currently experiencing an unexpected and uncontrolled power interruption which started at 07:47 AM
Affected Areas:
- Rizal
- Poblacion
- Libertad
- Buenavista
- Anonang
- Union
- Bonifacion
- Sibayan
- Managa

Reason: The substation feeder breaker was activated after detecting a line disturbance.
Cause: TBA
Power service will be restored once the cause of the interruption has been identified and necessary repairs have been completed.

Kapag kulang ang suplay ng kuryente o manipis na ang power reserves ng grid, maaaring magpatupad ang system operator ng Manual Load Dropping (MLD) bilang pang-emergency na hakbang upang maiwasan ang mas malawak na pag-collapse ng buong sistema.

Sa madaling salita, pansamantalang pinuputol ang suplay ng kuryente sa piling mga lugar upang mapanatiling matatag ang kabuuang power grid at maiwasan ang mas malalang pagkawala ng kuryente.

Mahalagang maunawaan na ang ganitong sitwasyon ay hindi dulot ng electric cooperative. Hindi ito katulad ng brownout na sanhi ng natumbang poste, sirang linya, o pumutok na transformer. Sa Manual Load Dropping, ang electric cooperative ay sumusunod lamang sa direktiba ng system operator dahil sa kakulangan ng generation o reserves sa grid.
