As part of our continuing System Loss Reduction Program, NUVELCO conducted various line maintenance, vegetation clearing, and system improvement activities across its coverage area to enhance power reliability, safety, and distribution efficiency.

A total of 84 spans of power lines were cleared in Aritaoโ€“Santa Fe and Concepcion, Solano to prevent vegetation-related faults and power interruptions. Other activities included pole replacement and relocation, three-phase line rerouting, vertical clearance correction, replacement of rotten crossarms, and defective primary fuse cutout replacement in Solano, Aritao, and Santa Fe. Meanwhile, secondary line rehabilitation was also conducted in San Pablo, Diadi to address overextended service connections and improve electrical safety.

NUVELCO remains committed to reducing system losses, strengthening its distribution network, and providing safe, reliable, and efficient electric service to our Member Consumers.

Through the spirit of cooperation and shared responsibility, teams from MT Cable, MN Electro, ACJR, and Meterking joined NUVELCOโ€™s initiative in conducting clearing operations and rehabilitating power lines in the municipalities of Aritao and Santa Fe.

Demonstrating NUVELCOโ€™s commitment to bringing reliable electric services closer to every community, GM Fredel Salvador, together with Director Ephraem Goluya, Director Ersal Corpuz, and other NUVELCO personnel, traveled for nearly four hours to meet with barangay officials of Abaca, Talbek, and Lipuga.

Despite the long journey and challenging road conditions, the NUVELCO delegation took the initiative to personally visit these remote communities to discuss proposed electrification projects, line services, and other initiatives aimed at improving access to electricity and enhancing the quality of life of their residents.

The barangay officials expressed their heartfelt appreciation for NUVELCOโ€™s personal visit and sincere efforts to reach their communities, recognizing the dedication and commitment demonstrated by the management and personnel.

For NUVELCO, distance is never a barrier to service. Wherever there are communities in need, NUVELCO remains committed to reaching them, listening to their concerns, and bringing the light of progress and opportunity closer to every home.

NUVELCO through General Manager Fredel L. Salvador, presented the proposed sitio and barangay line extension projects to Nueva Vizcaya Governor Jose V. Gambito on October 15, 2026. The proposed projects aim to bring reliable electric service to more households, support local development, and improve the quality of life of MCOโ€™s throughout the province.

Governor Gambito expressed his strong support for NUVELCOโ€™s electrification initiatives and encouraged the cooperative to explore renewable energy projects as part of its long-term development plans. He emphasized the importance of sustainable energy solutions in addressing the provinceโ€™s growing electricity needs.

NUVELCO remains committed to expanding its distribution network, promoting renewable energy opportunities, and providing reliable and sustainable electric service to the people of Nueva Vizcaya.
