Road trips in Negros hit differently. It has its own vibe and it has a calming effect seeing some roadsides remaining to be green and clear from built-up areas.

Hello, Dumaguete! 🥰

I love their boulevard. It is so alive and so clean. Recently, the city has been ranked as the safest city in the Philippines through the 2025 World Travel Index. Yup, this place says it all.

: The prisoner’s dilemma reflects the challenges faced by public transport workers in a volatile system. Drivers, operators, local governments, and regulators prioritize self-interest over collaboration, leading to instability. Genuine cooperation is essential for a fairer, more sustainable transportation environment, easing the burden on both drivers and commuters.

Golden hour in Bacolod ❤️

When you are scared, do it anyway. I want to share that I have relocated for a new assignment in Negros Island Region. Nevertheless, I remain committed to the City of Love, for the future we’ll love. I’m still your , but now in the City of Smiles, going for the extra mile. 🙌

Here’s to growth. Once I get adjusted, I’ll produce more reel content. Any suggestions what I can talk about?

Full demographics in one jeep! A jeepney driver had a good laugh when he asked my mom, “Pila ni?” and she responded, “Apat ‘to. Lain-lain. May regular, senior, student kag PWD.”

Public transport may not be perfect but it continues to strive to serve all segments. We still hope that soon, people on wheelchairs and the elderly with canes can independently ride jeeps. If not, their trips must be subsidized more.

As a public transport patron, I remain trapped in the rabbit hole, analyzing what went wrong in the long run of the public transportation system, including jeepneys, taxis, and tricycles, and how tensions in the Middle East deepened the system’s wounds. I have heard personal accounts from drivers grateful to their operators for reducing their boundaries to ease the impact of rising fuel prices. I also see some parties struggling while relying on the understanding and generosity of passengers who pay extra pesos.

Are you familiar with the prisoner’s dilemma? It is a game theory thought experiment that explains why even the most rational individuals might not cooperate, even if doing so serves their best interests. It starts with two suspects

In case you’re wondering what this was, here’s what the Philippine Space Agency said:

The lights sighted over parts of the Philippines on the evening of 11 April 2026, at around 7:40PM PST, are highly likely due to the passage of the Jielong-3 rocket launched by the People's Republic of China from the South China Sea at approximately 7:32 PM PhST.

The phenomenon is commonly called a "space jellyfish," which occurs when a rocket's exhaust plume, released at high altitudes, is directly illuminated by sunlight while observers on the ground remain in darkness. The expanding plume fans out in the thin upper atmosphere and scatters sunlight, creating a luminous, jellyfish-like glow visible over wide areas during twilight conditions.

When oil prices soar, government cash aid targets public transportation drivers, igniting controversy among wealthier taxpayers. But this strategic financial support stabilizes the economy, preventing inflation and ensuring essential services survive. It underscores the need for targeted interventions over universal benefits.

By injecting cash directly into the public transport sector, the government essentially “buys” fare stability, so it does not affect the inflation at large.

Honoring the sacrifices of the past and the present - from our heroes during the Second World War to our public transportation drivers today. Back in 2020, I remember dedicating the Araw ng Kagitingan to the frontliners of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, as an advocate of public transportation, I encourage everyone to also honor the sacrifices of our public transportation drivers who directly felt the impact of the fuel price surge due to the conflict in the Middle East.

We hope that the concerned government entities will ensure their subsidies reach them in the soonest possible time. Today, I rode a taxi and the driver shared that he has not received any subsidy yet while being hit hard of the fuel prices. Drivers are absorbing the shock losing 50 to 70 percent of their usual income, just to keep all of us moving.

So let us honor them for their sacrifices today as we also honor those who sacrificed in the past.
