pisonet business is simply an internet cafe business that instead of renting a computer with an hourly rate, usually PHP15-20 per hour, you’re making the rate as cheap as PHP1 peso and that’s about 4 minutes of renting time.
Internet rent at P1.00 peso is really appealing especially for kids and for those who are in need of short-time use of the internet. Way back then, you need P10 pesos for you to rent a computer for about 30 minutes and that is the minimum, you cannot rent a computer for less than that amount.
Since Filipinos love the so called “tingi-tingi”, the retail version of internet rent, the pisonet business has become popular in the philippines.
