𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

The Committee on Trade, Commerce, and Industry, led by Chairman Rudolph Ganzon, held its 2nd Committee Hearing last April 29, 2026.

The discussion focused on the "Iloilo City Comprehensive Startup Incentives and Development Ordinance of 2025," a measure endorsed by Mayor Raisa S. Treñas to provide fiscal and non-fiscal support to local startups.

By building a stronger startup ecosystem, we are paving the way for more jobs and innovation in our city! 💡

The CPUGAD name and logo have officially secured trademark registrations through the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL), strengthening the protection of CPUGAD TBI’s identity as Central Philippine University’s DOST-supported Technology Business Incubator.

This milestone also comes as we celebrate April as 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 (𝗡𝗜𝗣𝗠) in the Philippines — recognizing the importance of safeguarding ideas, creativity, and innovation within the academic and startup ecosystem.

The registration was facilitated by the CPU Innovation and Technology Support Office (ITSO).

This achievement highlights CPU and CPUGAD TBI's continued commitment to fostering innovation while ensuring the protection and integrity of its institutional brands and programs.
