To All Residents of Bobontugan

This is not the first time that gate valves belonging to the LGU Jasaan Water Supply System (JWSS) have been stolen or gone missing in Bobontugan. These repeated incidents continue to disrupt the operation and maintenance of our water distribution system, resulting in unnecessary water service interruptions, delays in repairs, and additional costs that ultimately affect the entire community.

We would like to inform the public that this incident was formally reported to the Jasaan Municipal Police Station yesterday, July 21, 2026, and the matter is now under appropriate investigation.

We respectfully seek your assistance in identifying those responsible for these thefts. If you witness anyone stealing, removing, or tampering with JWSS water facilities, or if you observe any suspicious activity, please report it immediately to the LGU Jasaan Water Supply System (JWSS). Any information you provide will be treated with strict confidentiality and may greatly assist in the ongoing investigation.

Protecting our water infrastructure is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can help prevent further incidents and ensure a safe, reliable, and continuous water supply for everyone.

LINE TRANSFER TO FLORES TANK & LEAK TEST OF THE NEW WATER LINE

Date: July 22, 2026

Please be advised that the LGU Jasaan Water Supply System (JWSS) will conduct a line transfer to the Flores Tank (Purok 1, Upper Solana), followed by a leak test of the newly installed water line to ensure the integrity and reliability of the new distribution system.

Affected Area:

Residents in the affected area may experience temporary water interruption and/or low water pressure during the scheduled line transfer and leak testing activities.

These activities are necessary to ensure that the new water line is operating safely and efficiently before it is placed into full service.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation while these improvement works are being completed.
