The architecture is defined by "Stacked Horizons," a vertical arrangement of volumes designed to maximize transparency and engagement with the beachfront. By balancing solid white planes with warm wood textures and natural stone, the structure achieves a presence that is both grounded and light within its environment. The design focuses on spatial logic and site-specific orientation, ensuring that every level offers a unique vantage point of the landscape.

The program transitions from functional ease at the ground level to expansive social and wellness zones above. Glass-railed decks provide an unobstructed connection to the horizon, while integrated vertical wood slats offer subtle privacy and sun shading. On the rooftop, the inclusion of a native bamboo bar and a dedicated wellness area emphasizes a commitment to tactile, organic materials that reflect the resortโ€™s tropical context.

RICON is pleased to share one of our latest projectsโ€”an additional bedroom designed to integrate seamlessly with an existing residential structure while introducing a refreshed architectural language.

The design explores the relationship between volume and site context. By elevating the new space above the existing white structure, we have created a private retreat that prioritizes natural cross-ventilation and carefully framed vistas. The addition utilizes a restrained palette of stone accents and deep overhangs to mitigate solar heat gain, maintaining a humble yet distinct profile that respects the original footprint.

Inside, the focus shifts to serene functionality. The open-plan layout, featuring an integrated kitchenette, allows the space to function as a self-contained suite.
