⚠️ LATEST ADVISORY: UPDATED NGCP POWER INTERRUPTION SCHEDULE ⚠️
Please be informed that the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has once again RESCHEDULED its maintenance activity. The new confirmed date is May 6, 2026 (Wednesday), from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

This interruption will affect the Lamut and Lagawe Substations, covering the municipalities of Lamut, Asipulo, Kiangan, Lagawe, Hingyon, Banaue, Hungduan, and Tinoc.

CLARIFICATION ON FREQUENT CHANGES:

We would like to clarify to all our Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) that these frequent changes and rescheduling are not initiated by IFELCO. These adjustments are made by NGCP to give way to various requests from LGUs, PLGUs, Electric Cooperatives (ECs), and other stakeholders who may be significantly affected by the power interruption.

REMINDERS FOR MCOs:

Stay Updated: Please continue to monitor the official IFELCO social media accounts for any further advisories or updates relayed to us by NGCP.

Safety First: Always treat all power lines and electrical fixtures as ENERGIZED at all times. Power may be restored earlier than scheduled depending on the progress of NGCP's works.

⚠️ URGENT: POWER INTERRUPTION POSTPONED (ON STANDBY) ⚠️

Please be informed that the scheduled power interruption previously set for April 29, 2026, is once again POSTPONED and is currently on STANDBY status. This latest adjustment is due to a formal request from the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) of Nueva Vizcaya.

We wish to clarify to all our valued Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) that these frequent changes in the schedule are not initiated by IFELCO. These interruptions originate from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), and the subsequent rescheduling is a result of NGCP accommodating various requests from their LGUs, PLGUs and other affected stakeholders

Current Status:

Date: April 29, 2026 — CANCELLED/POSTPONED

New Schedule: ON STANDBY (We will post a new advisory once a definite date is coordinated with NGCP).

Affected Areas: Lamut, Asipulo, Kiangan, Lagawe, Hingyon, Banaue, Hungduan, and Tinoc.

​A wonderful day at the Barangay Gymnasium of Bangtinon witnessing the dedication of the Bangtinon Women Farmers and Entrepreneurs Association during their Training in Homemade Coconut Oil Making.

​This inspiring project is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of IFELCO, championed by Director Freddie Balog with the full support of GM Marcial Nahiwan and the IFELCO Board of Directors. To ensure the sustainability of this program, IFELCO is proud to have donated the oil-making equipments to help these women jumpstart their new livelihood. 🥥💪

Our teams will be carrying out essential works along Feeder 1 to address a heavy backlog of maintenance requirements and ensure system reliability.

Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Reason: IFELCO scheduled maintenance works along Feeder 1.

Affected Areas: parts of Cudog, Lagawe/ Brgys Mungayang-Lingay-Bokiawan-Dalligan, Kiangan/ Hingyon except Brgy Umalbong/ Banaue except Brgys Ducligan and Banao/ Hungduan, parts of Namal, Asipulo, and Tinoc.

SAFETY CAUTION:

Please be informed that the power service interruption previously moved to April 24 has been RESCHEDULED AGAIN to April 29, 2026 (Wednesday). This adjustment is being made to accommodate shutdown cancellation requests from stakeholders.

The updated schedule and details are as follows:

NEW Date: April 29, 2026 (Wednesday)

Time: 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM (0630H – 1630H)

Reason: NGCP Transmission line maintenance and Substation preventive/corrective maintenance works at Bayombong and Lagawe Substations.

Affected Areas: Lamut, Asipulo, Kiangan, Lagawe, Hingyon, Banaue, Hungduan, and Tinoc.

SAFETY REMINDER:

Identified Cause of Interruption:
Corrugated steel bar of the ongoing constn of Bldg. came in contact with the single phase primary line towards sitio Pacco, Nayon , Lamut due to strong wind. Pls. See attached photo.

Status: Fixed/ Bent steel bar and restored power to the affected areas.

Portion of Feeder 5: Phase C - Sitios Pacco, Aggang-ang and Halimutok, Nayon and Sitio Dilan, Payawan

Burnay and Umal.
Identified cause of int.: Transient Fault, rotten branches of Acacia Tree fell down and came in contact with the 3 ph. Line in Lumingay to IGH Line section but fell onto the ground shortly.

Affected Area/s:
Feeder 2: Municipalities of Lagawe, Kiangan and Asipulo.
