Today, as we mark the 10th anniversary of the passing of Arch. Teofilo “Boss Topy” Vasquez, we honor and celebrate a life that continues to inspire us every day.

As our founder, mentor, teacher, and friend, he led our company with vision, excellence, and a profound love for architecture, craftsmanship, and service to others. Beyond the structures he designed, his greatest legacy lies in the people he shaped and the values he instilled.

Every lesson he shared, every principle he upheld, and every standard of excellence he set remains deeply woven into who we are today. His influence continues to guide our work, our relationships, and our commitment to serving our clients and communities with integrity and care.

Ten years may have passed, but his wisdom, passion, and example continue to live on through the lives he touched and inspired.

Crafting spaces that feel like home — that has always been at the heart of what we do. 🧡

We’re excited to share one of our recently completed builds: the S-Residence in Lipa, a serene tropical retreat surrounded by nature.

Designed by the Architects as an extension of the client’s original home, this project aimed to create a relaxing haven for family enjoyment. As the architect described:

“Nestled in the mountainous city of Lipa, S-Residence is a tropical retreat designed for relaxation and family enjoyment… The structure features a rectilinear form finished with wood, glass, and stone, and includes an open ground floor that maximizes natural light and airflow. A central home lift with a glass skylight leads guests to a 20-meter lap pool, kiddie pool, sunken deck, vertical water feature, and landscaped gardens illuminated by skylights.

The second floor is divided into two wings, with the main wing housing the Great Room and Master Bedroom, and the secondary wing containing two additional bedrooms. Large windows enhance ventilation and daylight, while the Master Bedroom offers a view of Mount Maralayat. Overall, the design emphasizes space, light, and harmony with its natural surroundings.”

Our role was to bring this beautiful vision to life — from structural ex*****on to finishing details:

✔️ Rectilinear form with wood, glass, and stone accents
✔️ Airy open-plan ground floor
✔️ Glass-skylit central lift
✔️ 20-meter lap pool + kiddie pool
✔️ Sunken deck, water features, and landscaped gardens
✔️ Two-wing second floor with scenic views

Watching this home rise from plans to reality is something our whole team is truly proud of.

We’re excited to share our ongoing partnership with FarmTop, a proudly local brand making waves in the urban farming scene. 🌱 FarmTop brings you fresh hydroponic greens straight from the top of Metro Manila’s skyline, transforming unused rooftops and lots into vibrant farms. This green initiative addresses food security in urban areas and shows that even in the busiest cities, there’s always room to grow something sustainable and good.

As their trusted construction partner, VCDC has already completed three FarmTop locations—and counting! Each hydroponic farm is strategically built on building roof decks, making productive use of spaces often considered “dead areas.” Beyond growing fresh greens, these farms also give back to communities by providing livelihood opportunities for urban farmers, riders, and nearby local businesses.

Our team takes pride in delivering functional and efficient builds that bring FarmTop’s vision to life—bringing nature back into the city while supporting local farmers and sustainable living. Built with lightweight steel materials, mesh, and screen, the structures protect crops and create the ideal environment for growth, while housing their own utility systems to support daily farm operations and ensure consistent harvests.

This collaboration with FarmTop is more than construction—it’s about reimagining cities. Together, we’re transforming rooftops into thriving green spaces that champion sustainability, innovation, and community impact. 🌿 With every project, we’re proud to help build a future where cities don’t just grow upward, but also grow greener.

Last July 26, 2025, VCDC, in collaboration with TVA&P , spent a beautiful day at the Asociacion de Damas de Filipinas, Inc.—a charitable organization dedicated to serving socially, emotionally, and economically disadvantaged children.

We shared meals, played games, and filled the day with smiles, laughter, and love!

Our hearts are full from seeing the joy in the children’s eyes, and we are deeply grateful to our amazing staff who volunteered their time to make this day extra special.

This outreach reflects our mission as a company—to build not only homes and communities, but also hope and compassion wherever we can.
