Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to nation-building, EEI Corporation, through its People Performance and Culture (PPC) Division, officially launched its new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, EEI Cares. The initiative kicked off with a targeted relief operation for the Bagumbayan, Quezon City Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA).

The EEI Cares (Care, Aid, Relief, and Emergency Support) Program is designed to foster sustainable communities and extend meaningful assistance to fellow Filipinos. The maiden track specifically addresses the economic pressures faced by local transport workers due to the ongoing fuel crisis.

This initiative marks the first in a comprehensive series of community outreach activities under the EEI Cares banner. During the launch event, 80 tricycle drivers each received essential grocery packages to support their households and a PHP 500 Petron fuel subsidy to directly alleviate daily operational costs.

The launch of EEI Cares is deeply rooted in the Company’s 95th Anniversary theme: “Bayanihan ng Pamilyang Matatag: Sama-samang Tumitibay at Umaangat.” As EEI builds momentum on its "Road to 100" centennial anniversary, the program reinforces the value of teamwork and shared prosperity.
