Barriers exist in renewable energy development—but progress continues.

At a recent forum led by ClientEarth, bringing together policymakers, regulators, developers, financial institutions, and civil society, ACEN CEO Eric Francia noted that while challenges remain, the Philippines is “doing more right than wrong” in advancing the energy transition.

He also underscored the need for careful policy calibration, cautioning that measures such as WESM price caps should be applied only during extraordinary periods, to avoid discouraging long-term investment.

The wind is one of the most powerful natural resources we have—clean, abundant, and available day and night.

By harnessing the wind, we generate electricity without fuel, without emissions, and without relying on resources beyond our shores.

As global energy markets continue to shift, renewable energy like wind helps build a more secure, resilient, and sustainable energy future.
