Hallmark Mining Corporation (HMC) and Austral-Asia Link Mining Corporation (AALMC) are Philippine companies under the management of Asiaticus Management Corporation (AMCOR) and currently hold control of the Pujada Nickel Project. The MPSAs granted to these mining companies give the right of ingress and egress for the next 25 years and is renewable for the same period. AMCOR was organized in 1996 t

o provide management, investment and technical advice for mining entities and companies with mineral claims. The Multipartite Monitoring Team (MMT) recently conducted an inspection and monitoring visit at the Hallmark Clonal Nursery as part of the ongoing environmental compliance and rehabilitation monitoring activities of HMC.

During the inspection, the MMT members were able to observe the various native tree species and fruit tree seedlings being propagated and maintained to support the companyโ€™s mine rehabilitation, reforestation, and environmental enhancement programs.

The nursery also houses the vermiculture facility, which promotes sustainable organic soil enhancement and supports the production of quality planting materials for rehabilitation activities.

This initiative reflects Hallmarkโ€™s continued commitment to responsible mining, environmental stewardship, and sustainable rehabilitation efforts in partnership with stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

Q1 2026 MMT Opening Meeting successfully conducted at HMC Magum Camp, Macambol, Davao Oriental, with participation from DENR Regional Office XI, EMB XI, MGB XI, DENR-CENRO Mati, PASu Hamiguitan, City Health Office of Mati, BLGUs, KDI, and Hallmark Mining Corporation.

Hallmark Mining Corporation welcomed the personnel of Department of Environment and Natural Resources Region XI and DENR-CENRO Mati during the coordination meeting held on May 18, 2026 at HMC Magum Camp regarding the proposed Mangrove Rehabilitation Program in Mamali, Pujada Bay in support of the BIMP-EAGA Environmental Sustainability Deliverables.

The meeting highlighted the shared commitment of DENR and Hallmark toward environmental sustainability, coastal ecosystem restoration, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience through a pioneering mangrove rehabilitation initiative in Region XI.

The proposed partnership further strengthens Hallmarkโ€™s Ridge-to-Reef environmental stewardship approach by linking mine rehabilitation, watershed protection, and coastal ecosystem conservation.

On May 13, 2026, Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) conducted a Seedling Nursery Validation at the Hallmark Mining Corporation (HMC) Nursery as part of the continuing monitoring and compliance activities for environmental rehabilitation and reforestation initiatives.

The activity focused on the validation of seedling inventory, species identification, survival condition, and overall quality of planting materials intended for rehabilitation and tree planting activities.

Together with HMC personnel, onsite verification was conducted to ensure that the seedlings are healthy, properly maintained, and compliant with the required standards for future environmental programs.
