𝗔 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. 🧡

Sharing some additional snaps from our 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 presentation and the event, along with a closer look at the design concept that brought 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘 to life.

From the 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 to the details of the space, every element started with one intention:

𝗧𝗼 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲.

The challenge was to design an Airbnb within the footprint of two container vans using pieces from L2 Designer Home, for a couple whose fast-paced lifestyle called for a place where they could work, rest, and truly slow down.

So before we arrived at the final design, we explored the feeling first.

The colors.

The textures.

The materials.

The light.

The rhythm of the forms.

Every choice was made to support the story of 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘: a space inspired by the steady rhythm of a calm heartbeat and the gentle movement of waves.

And seeing the concept come together through the presentation, boards, and final visuals was such a rewarding part of the process.

We're incredibly grateful that this work was recognized with the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱. 🧡

𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘀. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗯𝗻𝗯. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲.

We’re incredibly grateful and proud to share that our design concept, 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘, was awarded 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 at the recent 𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁.🧡

The challenge?

To create an Airbnb within the footprint of two container vans using pieces from L2 Designer Home.

But the real question wasn't simply, How do we fit everything into a small space?

It was:

“𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀?"

Our client was a young entrepreneurial couple whose lives move at a very fast pace.

Their days are filled with businesses, emails, decisions, travel, and constant movement. When they travel, they don't need another space filled with visual noise.

They need somewhere to slow down.

That's where 𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗦𝗘 came in.

Inspired by the rhythm of a calm heartbeat and the gentle movement of distant waves, the concept was designed to create a feeling of calm the moment you step inside.

Every element was intentional.

The layout creates a seamless flow between work and rest.

The materials and textures bring warmth and depth without making the space feel heavy.

The lighting is softened and filtered to create a quieter atmosphere.

And the repetition of forms creates a subtle rhythm throughout the space, giving the compact footprint a sense of continuity and calm.

Because even in a space as limited as two container vans, 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

A proper place to work.

A comfortable place to rest.

A space to recharge.

And most importantly, 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲.

We're deeply grateful to SOFA Design Institute for recognizing this concept with the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

This project reminded us why we love what we do.

And sometimes, the smallest spaces can hold the biggest ideas.
