Recently, the main structure of the No. 1 cooling tower for the S**C Guangdong Lianjiang Nuclear Power Project was successfully completed. As the first of its kind in China and the world's largest in scale for nuclear power, this super-large seawater cooling tower marks the first application of "seawater secondary circulation cooling technology" in the country.
By recycling the cooling water, this technology reduces water discharge to just one-fortieth of that in traditional systems, significantly minimizing the impact on the marine environment while effectively enhancing the operational safety and stability of the power unit.

This achievement signifies a major breakthrough in China's large-scale nuclear power cooling technology, paving a new path for the coordinated development of efficiency, safety, and eco-friendliness in the nuclear industry.
