Job Description:
• Lead the project management team during the construction of residential, office or commercial fitout;
• Prepare all the required documents for the projects;
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses;
• Coordinate and manage designer/consultants inputs during construction of the project;
• Consider all applicable codes and regulatory requirements for government agency ensuring the compliance of the project during the construction process.
• Evaluate construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans;
• Review project budget regularly and track changes to stay within budget.
• Review Change Orders for cost and schedule implications;
• Receives, reviews, and evaluates change orders, pay applications, material and equipment submittal;
• Review the plans and value engineering of each project as coordinated with engineering consultants;
• Supervises the implementation of the project to ensure a smooth construction time and completion;
• Take actions to deal with the result of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site;
• Inspects project sites during various phases of the work for compliance with construction specifications and quality of work;
• Enforces the site safety requirements;
• Performs final inspections, punch list, submit reports and job evaluation upon completion;
• Directs work of in-house construction crew;
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients representing the owner or developer;
• Performs project cost accounting and maintains project cost reports;
• Participate actively in construction progress meetings with all involved team members;
• Works to resolve disputes, discrepancies, errors and omissions in contract documents;
• Establish and maintain good communications with other all the person involved in the construction;
• Other tasks may deem necessary.
• Job Qualifications;
• Candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in the Project Management
• Licensed professional in Engineering (Not required but an advantage);
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelors’/ College Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
• Knowledge of building construction materials and methods.
