The Philippine Coding Camp (PCC), co-presented by FEU Institute of Technology and the FEU Tech Innovation Center (FTIC), successfully hosted InnoVision 2026: Special Forum on Military IT Convergence, bringing together defense personnel, academic leaders, researchers, technology experts, and institutional partners to explore how emerging technologies can strengthen military education, defense innovation, and national security capabilities.
The forum featured discussions on the growing role of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data analytics, IoT, autonomous systems, and other digital technologies in addressing the evolving needs of the defense sector. Through expert talks and knowledge-sharing sessions, participants explored opportunities for research collaboration, capacity-building, and stronger industry-academe-government partnerships.
One of the event's key highlights was the partnership signing between PCC and FEU Tech through the FEU Tech Innovation Center, reinforcing both organizationsโ commitment to advancing innovation, technology education, and talent development.
The event also included a press conference attended by members of the media, featuring FEU Tech Executive Director Rossana Adao, Senior Director for Student Success Jarvis Muyargas, Senior Director for Innovation and Research Engr. Daryl David, and PCC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Gino Sampedro.
During the discussion, panelists emphasized the importance of capacity building across government, industry, and defense institutions, as well as the vital role of academic institutions in strengthening the country's capabilities in emerging technologies. The forum underscored the value of collaboration in preparing future-ready professionals and advancing innovation for national development.
