Solar Engineer
📌Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Engineer to design, develop, and implement solar power systems for residential, commercial, and/or industrial projects. The role involves technical design, system optimization, site assessment, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and cost-effective renewable energy solutions.
📌Key Responsibilities:
▪️Design and develop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including system sizing, layout, and electrical configurations
▪️Conduct site assessments to evaluate solar potential, shading, and structural integrity
▪️Prepare technical drawings, system specifications, and engineering documentation
Perform energy yield analysis and system performance modeling
▪️Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and safety regulations
▪️Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients throughout project ex*****on
▪️Oversee installation processes and provide technical support during construction
▪️Troubleshoot system issues and recommend improvements or corrective actions
Stay updated on advancements in solar technology and industry best practices
📌Qualifications:
▪️Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field
▪️Proven experience in solar PV system design and implementation
▪️Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope)
▪️Strong understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy principles
▪️Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes
▪️Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
▪️Strong communication and teamwork abilities
📌Preferred Qualifications:
▪️Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
▪️Experience with large-scale or utility solar projects
▪️Knowledge of energy storage systems and hybrid solutions
📌Work Environment:
▪️Combination of office-based design work and on-site project visits
▪️May require travel to project locations
