It was a pleasure to visit Ormoc City SPED Integrated School for the testing, commissioning and training of assistive technology designed to support students who are blind or have low vision.

Technology makes a difference, but so do the people using it. It was great to train both Special Education teachers and technical staff to support students with confidence.

Thank you for your warm welcome, active participation and commitment to creating a more inclusive learning environment.

We look forward to supporting your school on its accessibility journey.

The images include Special Education teachers, technical staff and Pacific Vision team members working together at computer workstations, reviewing equipment and documentation, participating in hands-on training, and sharing a group photo during a break. The photos capture a collaborative and welcoming environment focused on improving accessibility and supporting students who are blind or have low vision.

One of our customers recently shared something with us that really hit home.
After her vision began to change, she found herself completely avoiding the mailbox.
Reading her mail had simply become too difficult and frustrating, so she stopped opening it altogether.
But recently, she started using an OCR text-to-speech device. She called us up and said:
"I can finally read my letters again without having to ask someone else for help."
Itโ€™s a powerful reminder that independence isnโ€™t always about the "big" milestones.
Sometimes, itโ€™s just about the simple dignity of reading your own printed mail, checking a bill, or enjoying a favourite magazine on your own terms.
Technology canโ€™t change a diagnosis, but it can help us hold onto the daily routines that matter most.
If you or a loved one is navigating vision loss, what is one everyday task you wish was just a little bit easier right now? You are definitely not alone. ๐Ÿ’™
