Electrical System - Urgent Replacement of Faulty 800AT MCCB in MDP
Industrial Plant - Brgy. Lias, Marilao Bulacan

Findings:
1. Rainwater is seeping through damaged insulation on the feeder electrical wire.

2. Rainwater eventually reached the mechanical lugs and, seeping through the wires, entered the main circuit breaker, leading to its malfunction.

Actions:
1. To prevent rainwater from seeping through damaged wire insulation, we restore the insulation by applying multiple layers of rubber tape followed by vinyl electrical tape, ensuring the wiring and connections are well-protected and sealed against moisture.

2. The faulty MCCB was replaced with a new unit, and all wires and busbars were tested and commissioned to ensure proper functionality.

Recommendation:
1. To prevent electrical problems, practices to perform regular inspections and maintenance to protect electrical system from environmental exposure and promptly repair any signs of damage or wear.
