Dams can be said as a necessity of every country. Dams can be called a flood prevention device with the function of providing water for activities such as irrigation, human consumption industrial use, aqua culture, etc. Dams are so important that an addition of one and a loss of one can cause a major impact in our community and economy. So, till this day, dams are being carefully monitored and maintained to be in optimum condition for when times of need comes. As such, Mapua University has assembled a team of highly respected engineers that specializes in their respective fields to make a project to monitor such dams in the present day 24/7.
So, without furtherado, we, the CEGE THINKERS, would like to invite you to join us as we hold a seminar about Mapua University's Automated Real-time Monitoring System (ARMS) for dams project! This feature's Mapua's sophisticated and automated monitoring system of different dams in Luzon as well as its uses and how it will help monitor our dams for the benefit of future study, research and the development of our economy.
This seminar will be held on the second day of the CEGE Week, Tuesday, December 4, 2018 on the Audio Visual Room 2. The seminar will be headed by Engr. Cris Edward Monjardin, Ms. Diane Pelegrinu and Mr. Marlou Ryan Ga, the pilots of this wonderful project.
