Repair work at Purok 4, San Miguel, Manolo Fortich continues this evening as our teams face both the complexity of the line repair and the bad weather conditions onsite.

Despite these challenges, our crews remain committed and are working tirelessly to restore power safely.

We sincerely ask for your patience and sympathy as we strive to complete the restoration under difficult circumstances.

SERVICE UPDATE:

Power was partially restored at approximately 3:25 PM today, June 10, 2026, in the following areas:
-Municipality of Impasug‑ong
-Municipality of Sumilao
-Municipality of Manolo Fortich, particularly Brgy. Dalirig, Ticala, Lingion, Maluko, San Tiago, and Guilang‑Guilang

Our team continues to work on completing restoration for the remaining affected sections. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

SERVICE UPDATE:

The power interruption was caused by an uprooted tree that struck both the 13.2 kV backbone line and the 69 kV power line in Purok 4, San Miguel, Manolo Fortich. Our team is conducting inspection and will proceed with restoration activities once conditions are safe.

Our technical team is currently responding to a technical issue affecting portions of Impasug‑ong, Sumilao, Manolo Fortich, Baungon, Libona, and Malitbog.

This service gap, which began at 1:44 PM on June 10, 2026, was triggered by an unscheduled power interruption along the MF 69 kV Line, with the fault cause still under determination.

We recognize the inconvenience this may cause and assure you that our team is currently conducting thorough inspection to determine the fault. Once identified, our crew will be dispatched to safely restore your service at the earliest possible time.

BUSECO Contingents Rush to Aid Quake‑Hit Mindanao

On June 8, 2026, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake jolted General Santos City and nearby provinces, leaving communities devastated with casualties, injuries, and widespread damage.

In response to the directive of the National Electrification Administration (NEA) through the Association of Mindanao Rural Electric Cooperatives (AMRECO), BUSECO immediately mobilized its Task Force Kapatid contingents the very same day the quake struck.

Headed by General Manager Cristopher A. Dulfo and Engineering & Technical Services Department Manager Rey Ann A. Baul, the team departed for General Santos City to extend emergency assistance to affected cooperatives, including SOCOTECO II and SUKELCO.

This swift action reflects BUSECO’s unwavering commitment to solidarity, bayanihan, and service beyond boundaries, bringing light and hope to communities in their time of greatest need. 💡💚
