de the country of France and is a major subsidiary of Essilor. Essilor globally has more than 74,000 employees, present in 78 countries, and 33 production sites around the world. All-in-all in 2018, Essilor produced 565 million lenses, which around 50 million have been produced here in EMPI, this is almost 10% of the global demand. So EMPI is a significant facility for Essilor and is a valuable partner to supporting its mission "Improving lives by improving sight".
