A day well spent and a brain well trained!

The Mobo National High School has ticked their box for Science Research Showcase where young minds of the Science, Technology, and Engineering (STE) Program has successfully presented their Research Plan in various scientific research categories.

Science Research Showcase is one of the activities planned in support of the Science Club/ Month Celebration 2025, with the theme, “Spatialyze: Surveying Societies, Sensing Solutions”.

This activity was also made possible with the help of esteemed panelist of the School Research Committee (SRC) – Mrs. Jennifer D. Esplana, Mrs. Jonah D. Titong, and Mr. Jerome D. Meñale.

This is just the beginning of what is yet to see. Stay tuned for more activities!

REMINDER TO ALL THE GRADE 7 STE ASPIRANTS

Please be reminded that the admission test for Grade 7 STE applicants is scheduled on May 19, 2025, Monday, at room 47, Mobo National High School. The activity will begin at 8:00 in the morning. Please be there before the set time.

For those who have not yet submitted their complete documents, please bring those with you:
a. Birth Certificate
b. Progress Report Card from grade 6
c. Certificate of Good Moral Character.

The interview will follow on the same day, right after the admission test.

Do not forget to bring with you the following:
a. Pencil and eraser/ballpen and correction tape
b. An extra sheet of paper for scratch
c. Baon (water and snacks/lunch)

The “MoboNHS Research Fair 2025: Exploring Innovations Through Research," was a fantastic display of our students' dedication and talent! 🤩

On March 20th, the Research Room buzzed with excitement as Grade 7, 8 STE, and Senior High School STEM students participated in a variety of events organized by the Science Department.

Highlights included:

* A refreshing and informative Symposium on Scientific Research, featuring guest speaker from Masbate National Comprehensive High School, Sir Gerard Jan D. Ibañez, who shared valuable insights.

* The thrilling Number Race, testing students' quick thinking and problem-solving skills with obstacles.

* Impressive Research Paper and Poster Presentations, evaluated by our esteemed judges, Jake A. Nuñez, Rizalyn P. Nuñez, and Rain Mar S. Buaya.

We would like to acknowledge the following people for the success of the event: to the brain and brilliance of this event for the whole division for the special program for Science, Technology, and Engineering, the supervisor in Science, Dr. Manuel Teodoro; to the unwavering support of our Principal, Dr. Lina Arta Lim; to all the Science teachers of Mobo NHS; and also to the students and parents.

It was inspiring to witness the passion and creativity of our young researchers! We're incredibly proud of everyone who participated.

Keep an eye out for future STE events! We can't wait to see what our students accomplish next.
