North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR) Project using 25mm GFRP rebar.
GFRP Philippines Manufacturing is proud to collaborate with Leighton Asia-First Balfour Joint Venture on NSCR Contract Package S-03B, a key section of the NSCR project.
Spanning 6.1 kilometers,(4.7km of underground railway and 1.4km of at-grade tracks), it covers the construction of the underground Food Terminal Inc. (FTI) Station and connecting tunnels that will link the NSCR to the Metro Manila Subway.
Development of this vital ₱23.9-billion tunnel segment is progressing steadily, with diaphragm-wall installation and foundation works actively underway in Bicutan, Taguig City.
As a critical component of the 147-kilometer North-South Commuter Railway, this project will help connect Clark International Airport to Calamba, Laguna, delivering faster, safer, and more efficient transportation for millions of Filipinos.
