This is where we grow our Oyster Mushroom. It is an air conditioning grow room because temperature is a critical factor that needs to be controlled to successfully grow Great Quality Mushrooms. :)

Generally speaking, mushrooms prefer cool, humid environments. Some mushrooms, like the pink or yellow oyster, like it to be a little warmer, but this is the exception rather than the rule. Most mushrooms will grow more robust and meaty fruits if the temperature is kept to about 15-18 deg C during fruiting.

Some mushrooms even need a “cold shock” in order to induce fruiting. Air conditioners affect the amount of humidity in the air, so the relative humidity needs to be watched closely during large temperature swings.
