Mintras busy ang DLPC ug sulod sa Davao del Norte ang mismong mga residente sa Davao City daghan ug reklamo.

Sa usa ka bag-o nga online nga post nga nagpalibot sa Facebook,
daghang mga tiggamit ang nagpahayag sa mga reklamo bahin sa kanunay nga on-and-off nga suplay sa kuryente, namatikdan ang kahasol nga nahimo niini sa mga panimalay ug adlaw-adlaw nga mga kalihokan. Gihulagway sa ubang mga komentarista nga makabalda ang sitwasyon, ilabina sa mga oras sa buntag ug gabii nga taas ang panginahanglan sa kuryente.

Ang mga residente padayon nga nanawagan alang sa mas klaro nga mga advisory ug mas kasaligan nga serbisyo tungod kay ang kalig-on sa kuryente nagpabilin nga usa ka mahinungdanong kabalaka sa mga apektadong komunidad.

Today, June 17, 2026, marks Day 8 of the NORDECO Task Force Kapatid – ONE AMRECO operations as the team continues its commitment to restoring power through the rehabilitation of the 69 kV line located in the highland area of Brgy. Kapatan, Glan, Sarangani.

The assignment brought the NORDECO Warriors of Light into a more challenging terrain, where access to the site required a long and demanding hike through steep and rugged pathways. Despite the difficulty of the journey, the team pressed on with determination, carrying tools and equipment needed for the line rehabilitation work.

“Kapoy gyud ang trabaho sa field, ulan ug init ang sagubangon, pero makalipay kaayo kung makakita mi nga na-restore na ang linya ug mabalik na ang kuryente sa mga lugar nga among giadto. Mas nindot pa jud kay makahimamat mi sa mga residente ug ma-feel namo ilang suporta ug pagpasalamat. Lami kaayo sa paminaw nga makatabang mi sa komunidad ug makahatag ug kahayag sa ilang adlaw-adlaw nga kinabuhi,” said Guilbert Pucong, the team’s Foreman.
(Field work is really tiring, facing both rain and heat, but it is very rewarding to see the line restored and electricity brought back to the areas we visit. It feels even better to meet the residents and feel their support and gratitude. It is truly fulfilling to be able to help the community and bring light to their everyday lives.)

Through teamwork, resilience, and commitment to service, the Task Force composed of different Electric Cooperatives in Mindanao continues to push forward in bringing light closer to the communities of South Cotabato.

Northern Davao Electric Cooperative, Inc. (NORDECO) participates in the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) today, June 17, 2026, joining institutions across the country in strengthening emergency preparedness and response.

“Preparedness is a shared responsibility. By taking part in activities such as the NSED, we equip ourselves with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies, helping protect lives and ensure the safety of our employees and the communities we serve,” said Acting General Manager Elvera S. Alngog.

The drill served as an important reminder of the value of readiness, coordination, and presence of mind during emergencies. Through regular participation in disaster preparedness activities, NORDECO continues to promote a culture of safety and resilience in the workplace.

Sa nahitabong sunod-sunod nga brownout kitang tanan nakahibalo na karon DILI KAYA SA DAVAO LIGHT NGA SIYA RA. KINAHANGLAN DUHA ANG MAGDALA SA KURYENTE SA DAVAO DEL NORTE UG DAVAO DE ORO.

Unsa na lang kaha kung mosaka na siya sa bukid sa Boringot kaya kaha sa Davao Light mokamas? Labaw na nga walay ginansya ang lugar.
