When service matters most, commitment leads the way!

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the PHilMech-ICTDTD–AFMechERN remained committed to delivering quality public service by advancing the implementation of the Registration of Ownership of Agricultural and Fishery Machines and Equipment System (RAFMES).

On August 4, 2026, the team conducted a RAFMES Version 2 orientation and training for the Municipality of Villaviciosa, Abra, through its Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), in response to the municipality's request for technical orientation on the upgraded system.

Continuing its support for RAFMES implementation, PHilMech also conducted the turnover of one (1) QR printer and a complete set of supplies to the Province of Ilocos Norte on August 6, 2026. As one of the identified Model Provincial Local Government Units (PLGUs), the province will utilize the equipment to generate QR-coded registration stickers and further enhance its local registration operations.

The Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech), through the Interim Communications Technology and Digital Transformation Division (ICTDTD), successfully conducted a hands-on training on Version 2 of the Registration of Ownership of Agricultural and Fisheries Machines and Equipment System (RAFMES) in the Provinces of Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro on July 7 and July 9, 2026, respectively.

The activity was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office MIMAROPA (DA-RFO MIMAROPA) and the Provincial Agriculture Offices of Oriental Mindoro and Occidental Mindoro, with the participation of representatives from the different City/Municipal Agriculture Offices (C/MAOs) across the two provinces.

Participants gained hands-on experience in utilizing the enhanced features and functionalities of RAFMES Version 2, including the registration, validation, and management of agricultural and fisheries machines and equipment records. The training also showcased the system's latest enhancements designed to improve data accuracy, streamline registration processes, and strengthen inventory management at the local government level.

Through this activity, PHilMech further strengthened the capability of LGU personnel to effectively implement RAFMES, enhancing the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of machinery registration and inventory management while reaffirming its commitment to advancing digital transformation, supporting agricultural mechanization, and delivering responsive public service.
