Uratex Group of Companies, through GUUN Company Limited, diverted a total of 76,061 kilograms of excess fabrics since 2023. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to sustainable solid waste management, focusing on the conversion of industrial waste into fluff fuel—a more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional coal.

Through this waste-to-energy solution, the collaboration has contributed to a total carbon dioxide (CO2) emission reduction of 47,284 kilograms.

By repurposing post-production scraps that are otherwise difficult to manage, Uratex continues to minimize its environmental impact and prevent waste from entering landfills and waterways.

In celebration of Mother’s Day this month, we shine a light on all the incredible mothers who exemplify courage and resilience as they navigate the demanding yet rewarding worlds of work and motherhood. This tribute is for those who flawlessly balance their professional commitments with the boundless love and care they provide at home.

We had the privilege of speaking with Ms. Maricar Estacion, Uratex Automotive Seating’s accounting associate and a mother of two kids, to gain insight into how she manages to 'do it all.’ Her approach offers invaluable lessons on time management, prioritization, and self-care.

Lesson #1: Family comes first
No matter how busy work becomes, always make time for your children and loved ones because they need your presence and support.

Lesson #2: Manage your time wisely.
Plan your schedule so you can finish your work responsibilities while still having time for your family and personal needs.

Lesson #3: Learn to prioritize.
Not everything is equally important. Focus on the most important tasks at work and at home.

Lesson #4: Take care of yourself.
A mother cannot take care of her family well if she is too tired or stressed. Rest and self-care are also important.

Lesson #5: Be patient and flexible.
Balancing work and family is not always easy. Sometimes plans change, so patience and understanding are necessary.

Lessons from Ms. Estacion are a powerful reminder to us all that achieving true work-life balance is a never-ending process that requires patience and prioritization.
