16 plants are on forced outage since May, 1 plant since April, 3 plants since March, 1 plant since February, 3 since January, 3 plants since 2025, 2 plants since 2024, and 1 plant out since 2019; while 14 plants are running on derated capacities, for a total of 4,160MW unavailable to the grid.

The Tayabas-Ilijan 500kV Line and the Dasmarinas-Ilijan 500kV Line were restored on 13 May 2026 at 2:44PM and 4:52PM, respectively. We are waiting for the affected plants to resynchronize back to the grid.

A red alert status is issued when power supply is insufficient to meet consumer demand and the transmission grid’s regulating requirement.

A yellow alert is issued when the operating margin is insufficient to meet the transmission grid’s contingency requirement.

The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) will soon launch a loan program allowing government workers to borrow up to P500,000 to install solar panel systems in their homes.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners P/S is proceeding with the development of the Philippines’ first offshore wind farms, betting that critical port upgrades will be completed in time to support a multi-billion peso construction schedule.

Rune Damgaard, chief executive officer of CIP’s offshore arm, Copenhagen Offshore Partners, said the Danish fund’s timeline remains intact despite the current lack of specialized port infrastructure needed to handle massive wind turbine components.

Solar panels are relatively fragile and can be easily damaged by abrasive cleaning methods or harsh chemicals. Professionals use specialized equipment and cleaning solutions that are safe for solar panels, ensuring that cleaning does not scratch or otherwise damage the delicate surfaces.

DIY-er ka man na nagtitipid sa cleaning, o installer na nagmamagaling—tingnan niyo muna 'tong graphic.

Hindi po steppingstones ang solar panels. Hindi 'yan apakan.
