POWER SITUATION UPDATE

Naglabas ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – MIMAROPA Region ng Work Stoppage Order laban sa Palawan Electric Cooperative (PALECO) ngayong araw, ika-7 ng Agosto 2026. Ang naturang kautusan ay nag-uutos ng agarang pagtigil sa pagsasagawa ng lahat ng critical electrical work activities and operations ng Kooperatiba.

Dahil dito, pansamantalang hindi makapagsasagawa ang PALECO ng mga kinakailangang operasyon upang matugunan ang mga nararanasang pagkawala ng kuryente sa mga lugar na sakop ng franchise area nito.

Sa kasalukuyan, patuloy ang pakikipag-ugnayan ng pamunuan ng PALECO sa DOLE upang maresolba ang usapin at mapawalang-bisa ang nasabing Work Stoppage Order sa lalong madaling panahon.

Tinitiyak ng pamunuan ng PALECO na sa oras na ma-lift ng DOLE ang naturang kautusan, agad na ipagpapatuloy ng Kooperatiba ang normal nitong operasyon at ang agarang pagtugon sa mga power interruption sa mga apektadong lugar.

Humihingi po kami ng inyong pang-unawa at pasensya habang isinasagawa ang mga kinakailangang hakbang upang maibalik sa normal ang aming operasyon.
