📖 KEY VERSE

> “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

💡 BAON MO TODAY

🎯 CHALLENGE TODAY
May desisyon ka bang pinagsisisihan?

Instead of:

“Sana alam ko noon.”

Try:

182 # PREPARE BEFORE THE DRY SEASON

Bible Reading: Genesis 41:33–36
Key Verse: “Let them collect all the food of these good years… to be kept in reserve.” — Genesis 41:35

May warning na madaling balewalain habang may tubig pa at umuulan pa.

Pero ayon sa latest PAGASA outlook, strong El Niño is active and is expected to intensify, potentially reaching very strong levels and persisting into the first half of 2027. This increases the likelihood of below-normal rainfall, dry spells, and drought in parts of the Philippines.

Forecast ito, hindi certainty. PAGASA continues to monitor and update the outlook.

May magandang biblical principle dito.

When Joseph learned that years of abundance would be followed by years of famine, hindi siya nag-panic.

He prepared.

3 Lessons

1. Warnings are opportunities to prepare.
Wisdom doesn't wait for the water to run out before conserving it.

2. Save during abundance.
Tubig man, pagkain, pera, o resources, magandang habit ang magtabi habang mayroon.

3. Preparation is different from fear.
Hindi kailangan mag-panic. Kailangan maging responsible.

Reflect

Today’s Challenge

Start with something simple.

Conserve water. Fix leaks. Store responsibly. Avoid waste.

And apply the same principle to your finances:

Save while you have plenty.

Prayer

Panginoon, give us wisdom to prepare without fear. Teach us to use water, food, money, and every resource responsibly. Help us think beyond today and care for the needs of our families and communities. Amen.

Tandaan:
Kapag may warning, prepare. Kapag may abundance, save.

Rooftop solar could reach about 150 million buildings worldwide
September 22
Reuters reported that the IEA expects roughly 150 million buildings worldwide to have rooftop solar by the end of 2026. High electricity prices and concerns about reliable supply are major drivers, not just environmental goals.

“Solar is no longer just about going green. For millions of homes, it is becoming about lower bills and energy security.”

167 MAY SOLAR PANEL, PERO NASA SHADOW ZONE.

1. Severe shading from both side walls. The array is installed in a narrow corridor between high walls. Even if may direct sun around noon, morning and afternoon production can be heavily reduced.

2. Poor solar access window. Ang magandang PV location should receive several hours of unobstructed sunlight, ideally covering much of the 9 AM to 3 PM solar window.

3. String mismatch / hotspot risk. Kapag bahagi lang ng isang panel o string ang naiilawan habang shaded ang iba, output can collapse depending on string configuration and bypass-diode operation. Partial shading can also increase local heating.

4. ROI may become poor.

Best recommendation: conduct an actual shade analysis / solar-path study before accepting this location. Check expected irradiance per month, not just one sunny noon.

163 “ATS BA ’TO, O AUTOMATIC TROUBLE SWITCH? ⚡😅”

1. Poor workmanship / untidy wiring arrangement
Control wires and power conductors are loosely routed, with unnecessary crossings, excess cable ties, and poorly organized wiring inside the enclosure. Wiring should be installed neatly and securely to reduce mechanical stress and make inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance safer.
PEC 1.10.1.12 – Mechanical Ex*****on of Work

2. Possible ATS bypass / improper source tapping
Based on the reported behavior, the utility may still be feeding the MDP through another path even when the GRID breaker at the ATS is OFF. This must be traced and corrected.
PEC 7.2.1.6 – Transfer Equipment

3. Improper / unprotected conductor entry
Large conductors entering the upper-right portion of the cabinet appear to pass through a metal opening without clearly visible proper fittings or abrasion protection. Approved connectors, glands, or bushings should be provided.

4. Grounding and bonding must be verified
The metal ATS cabinet must have a definite, low-impedance equipment-grounding and bonding path. Do not rely merely on mounting hardware or incidental contact.

5. Source I, Source II, and LOAD connections must be verified
The correct arrangement should be:
GRID → Source I
BACKUP → Source II
ATS LOAD → MDP
Any direct utility connection bypassing the ATS defeats the intended transfer function and can create a backfeed hazard.

MAY SPILL DIN ANG ARAW AT HANGIN ☀️🌬️🛢️

Wind spill:
Hangin ang kumalat.

Solar spill:
Liwanag ang tumapon.

Oil spill:
Doon na nag-iba ang usapan. 😅

May manufacturing.
May land use.
May transmission lines.
May end-of-life disposal at recycling.

Kaya ang tunay na comparison ay hindi:

“Perfect ba ang renewable?”

Kundi:

Solar kapag may araw.
Wind kapag may hangin.
Storage kapag kailangan.
Grid kapag kulang.

#142
“50 kVA TRANSFORMER, PERO SAFE BA ANG SETUP?” ⚡

1. Exposed live parts / missing dead-front The panel interior, breaker terminals and bus connections are exposed. If energized and accessible like this, it violates the guarding requirement under PEC 1.10.1.27. Install the proper dead-front before normal operation.

2. Improper conduit/raceway termination below the panel The red raceways appear to stop below the enclosure, with conductors continuing exposed into the panel. Raceways should terminate properly at the cabinet with approved connectors, locknuts and bushings. Conductors must be protected against abrasion and mechanical damage.

3. Insufficient protection of conductors between panel and transformer The conductors between the panel and the 50 kVA transformer appear partly exposed rather than continuously protected by an approved raceway or wiring method. Verify compliance with PEC Chapter 3 wiring-method requirements and mechanical protection.

4. Working and service clearance must be checked The 50 kVA transformer is directly below/in front of the distribution equipment area. Verify that it does not encroach on the required working space, access, door opening and maintenance clearance under PEC 1.10.1.26 and the transformer manufacturer’s required clearances.

Also verify transformer grounding/bonding, secondary OCPD, neutral-ground bonding point, ventilation, conductor ampacity and torque. Those cannot be confirmed from this photo alone.

Best short punch-list wording:

> Missing dead-front • improper raceway termination • exposed/unprotected conductors • verify required working clearance around the 50 kVA transformer and panel.
