The Davao Electrical Practitioner Association, Inc. with an acronym of DEPA, INC. II.

is a duly registered association with the Securities and Exchange Commission with SEC No. DN-0945000450 and approved the registration on August 09, 1994. This organization was organized in 1993 by a group of electricians whereby the Davao Light and Power Company, Inc. were planning to accredit the electricians which will be under the umbrella of the accredited registered association. The life span

of the association is fifty (50) years from and after the date of incorporation. OBJECTIVE:

That the DEPA, INC. was organized by the group of electricians as the primary requirements of the Davao Light and Power Company, Inc. (DLPC) to be associated in such a way an electrician shall be accredited with the power utility concern in connection with its proposition to regulate all electricians in the service entrance installation standard. Thus, DEPA, INC. has the following purposes, to wit;

1. to serve the prime interest of the members thru collective leadership for the appropriate use of the association’s resources for sustaining programs thru cooperativism for their protection and general welfare;
2. to work together in the spirit of solidarity for growth;
3. to promote and foster professionalism, fellowship and camaraderie among the members electricians;
4. to provide a forum where information and ideas of mutual interest can be exchange and discussed;
5. to render mutual help and support for the well-being of its members and family, specially in the matter of sustenance and other emergencies;
6. to elevate the status of members to high degree of proficiency in the performance of their work and vocation as private electricians;
7. to receive and solicit gifts, bequests, device and other donations from individual and other entities and to avail basic social services afforded and granted by the government and private institutions;
8. to acquire, purchase, lease such lands, buildings and equipments as the association may need for its programs or for such other purposes as the association may desire.
